Pricing Details
One of the best places to see all three species of
rosy-finches is at the bird feeders of the Crest House
restaurant on Sandia Crest, in central New Mexico.  From
the comfort of the restaurant, you will enjoy learning how
to differentiate between these sometimes difficult to
separate species.
Another highlight of a winter birding trip to New Mexico will
be the thousands of Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese at
Bosque del Apache.  This is one of the truly spectacular
nature experiences every birder, and non-birder, should
see.
Of course, there will be many other species to keep your
interest on this trip.  Some of the possible, though less
common, species you will look for include Ross's Goose,
Greater White-fronted Goose, Tundra Swan, Golden
Eagle, Merlin, Prairie Falcon, American Three-toed
Woodpecker, Golden-crowned Sparrow and Harris's
Sparrow.
